PETER KERN
Peter Kern was born on the 13th of February 1949 in Vienna, Austria. He was a singer in the Vienna Boy’s Choir and, later, a stage actor. He performed in almost 70 films and worked together with R.W. Fassbinder and Wim Wenders He won the German Film Award for his performances in “Flammende Herzen” (“Flaming Hearts”), “Falsche Bewegung” (“The wrong move”) and “Hitler – ein Film aus Deutschland” (“Hitler: A Film from Germany”). He directed his first feature film (“Crazy Boys”) in 1988 and his short film “Fifty-Fifty” was nominated at the Berlin International Film Festival. Filmcomment said in July 2008 “Peter Kern is undefeated”.
