Graham Cantwell
Born in Dublin in 1974 Graham has been prolific on the Irish film & theatre scene as a director, writer and producer for the past 11 years. In 2003 he received the Kodak Tiernan McBride Award for Best Irish Short at the Galway Film Fleadh and the LIM Award for Best Irish Short at the Foyle International Film Festival for his short film “A Dublin Story”. The film was short listed for the 2004 Academy Awards, received a special mention at the 2004 Tirana Film Festival and has been awarded a Bronze Remi at the prestigious Worldfest in Houston, Texas.
Graham has directed theatrical works for The Attic Studio including “Babylon Heights” with Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh and Dean Cavanagh, “Boys’ Life” at Andrews Lane and “Spoon Fed” for The Dublin Fringe Festival. He is working on several other projects including “Clan”, a feature length script Graham is co-writing with Swedish scriptwriter Janne Wallin, “Tempus X”, a real time digital feature film being developed at The Attic Studio and “The Coalboat Kids and the Pickaroonie” written by Pat Larkin.
