Original Title: El Vuelo del Tren
Blanca is alone to raise her 10-years-old daughter Aran, and there’s nothing that she wouldn’t do for her. Together they sing, laugh and dream, and face life with an endless appetite. When Aran is reported to suffer from leukemia, her mother knows that she’ll have to gather all possible energy and love to support her daughter in this terrible fight. A fight that will bring the two of them closer than ever, and will allow them to discover the pain, but also the love and magic surrounding them.

Spanish director Paco Torres has over 10 years experience in Filmmaking, Advertising and Marketing working for international companies in both Spain and Ireland. He has produced and directed several d ocumentaries, TV series, short films, corporate videos and TV commercials. His last short film, SETENTA (Seventy, 2007) has been selected in numerous film festivals including Cannes, Tokyo Short Film Festival, New York Independent Film and Video Festival, Beijing Film Festival etc… THE MAGIC OF HOPE (aka El Vuelo del Tren), that he wrote, directed and co-produced, is his first feature film. Right now he is filming his 2nd feature BLUE GUITAR.
